The Rathdrum Star is a weekly, independently-owned broadsheet newspaper, publishing since October, 2004.

We send our publication on a total saturation basis; that is, everyone in Blanchard, Athol, Spirit Lake, Spirit Lake East, Garwood, Twin Lakes, Rathdrum and Hauser Lake receives the newspaper for a circulation of 9,980.

We serve the Zip codes of 83801, 83804, 83858 and a portion of 83854.

The Star carries at least four grocery inserts each week:  Stein's IGA, Super 1 Foods, Miller's Harvest Foods and Trading Co.  Other advertisers talking advantage of our total penetration of the market with their inserts include A&W Root Beer, McDonalds and various insurance, construction and health-related firms.
